Nubia has finally launched its flagship Z80 Ultra in China, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. The new flagship aims to impress with not just its powerful Snapdragon chipset but also a massive battery and stellar display. The Z80 Ultra features a 6.85-inch BOE X10 OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and up to 2,000 nits of peak brightness. This panel also supports 3,000 Hz of touch sampling rate and is backed by dual DTS:X Ultra-tuned speakers for an immersive viewing experience. There are dedicated gaming triggers on the frame as well for enhanced gameplay.
Under the hood, the Nubia Z80 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage. For better thermal management, the flagship phone also flaunts a composite liquid metal cooling system with a large 3D Ice Steel VC vapour chamber.
