Samsung has released One UI 8.5 Beta 3 for the Galaxy S25 series, further refining its Android 16-based software ahead of a stable rollout. The update is now live for beta testers enrolled in the program and is rolling out in select markets, including India.

The latest beta build of One UI 8.5 focuses primarily on bug fixes and stability improvements, rather than introducing new features. According to the changelog, Samsung has addressed issues related to the lock screen clock, Now Brief summaries, the Phone app and Gallery performance. In addition, the overall system stability has also been improved.
Visual glitches and minor UI inconsistencies reported in earlier beta versions have also been resolved. One UI 8.5 Beta 3 also bundles the January 2026 Android security patch, ensuring improved protection against known vulnerabilities. This indicates that Samsung is now shifting its attention towards polish and security as the beta program progresses.
With three beta updates already released in quick succession, One UI 8.5 appears to be nearing readiness for a stable launch. While Samsung has not confirmed whether this is the final beta for the Galaxy S25 lineup, the pace of updates suggests that the official rollout may not be too far away.
That said, users can install the One UI 8.5 Beta 3 update on their Galaxy S25 by heading over to Samsung Members -> tapping on One UI 8 beta banner -> enroll. Once the user is enrolled, they can head over to Settings -> Software update -> Download.
