OnePlus has started the rollout of a new OxygenOS 16 update for the OnePlus 15R in India. It brings incremental changes which are aimed at improving the overall software stability, ironing out bugs and introducing small nifty features.
OnePlus 15R OxygenOS 16.0.3.501 update rolling out now
The latest OnePlus Community post has confirmed that the OxygenOS 16.0.3.501 update is now going live in batches for the OnePlus 15R. It carries the IN: CPH2767_16.0.3.501(EX01) build number, followed by a short changelog. Additionally, the latest update brings the January 2026 Android security patch to the phone.
As part of the build, the first major change has arrived in the form of app categorisation in Drawer Mode, with a new "Office & Finance" category now being added.
Moreover, OnePlus 15R users can now conveniently browse files in Private Safe using a slider, search files from folders and even share files directly from here. Also, a new toggle in call settings will now allow users to hide the "Reply with SMS" option in incoming call screens.
Besides these major feature updates, all the other changes introduced with the new update are at the system level and under the hood. It includes severalbug fixes and improvements, system stability enhancements and UI optimisation.
That said, the new OxygenOS 16 update is rolling out in batches and is reserved for a small percentage of users at the time of writing. OnePlus has confirmed a wider rollout in the coming days.
