But, if we're to nitpick, the phone misses out on wireless charging and a large main sensor, which won't matter to many of you.

The Motorola Signature is arguably the best flagship phone of 2026 out yet, which undercuts most recently released phones with an excellent spec sheet. It features a durable and sharp design, while offering powerful performance, excellent display and speaker pairing, a battery that can last a day, and good cameras. However, despite 7 years of promised updates, its software needs more polish. At Rs 59,999, it is a bargain for the spec nerds, if you can live with its software.

The Nothing Phone (3) is a bold and distinctive smartphone with its quirky Glyph Matrix feature, but the charm fades rather quickly. Its stellar display and clean Nothing OS software make for a pleasant everyday experience and performance is smooth enough for most tasks. However, the phone struggles to live up to its flagship pricing, with inconsistent cameras, underwhelming battery backup and some unnecessary cost-cutting on the hardware front. It's a phone that dares to look different and mostly succeeds, but the experience doesn't always match the promise.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE gets only minor upgrades over its predecessor with faster charging, better selfie camera, and a slightly bigger battery. The cameras on the back take decent pictures in outdoor lighting but they show age in other situations. The OneUI software experience remains as good as Samsung’s flagships. However, considering it all, the Galaxy S25 FE doesn’t offer enough upgrades to justify its price compared to its rivals.

The Oppo Reno 15 Pro Mini offers a premium build, a sharp and bright AMOLED display, smooth everyday performance and dependable cameras, all in a genuinely comfortable form factor. Battery life is better than expected for its size and fast charging helps on busy days. While it isn't built for hardcore gaming or the best low-light photography, it's a well-balanced and easy-to-live-with compact phone that ticks most boxes.

The iPhone 16e is a bizarre release by Apple that carries the same design as the iPhone 14. It adds the action button, USB Type C charging port, a bigger battery, and the latest processor, but only features a single camera at the back. There is also no MagSafe and a notch display stuck at 60 Hz. So, as you can see, it has too many drawbacks, which are not worth its high asking price.

The Vivo V70 Elite is an incredibly well-built, compact phone with an excellent display, great battery longevity and capable performance. Its 50 MP main and periscope cameras excel, though the 8 MP ultrawide disappoints. Despite strong battery life, the existing bloatware and a steep price tag hold it back. All-in-all, it's a pretty hard sell in a price range that's filled with many capable options offering far better performance and value for money.
