OnePlus entered the compact smartphone race in 2025 with the OnePlus 13T in China. It later came to India as the OnePlus 13s. Now, it looks like the brand is already hard at work, prepping the sequel – the OnePlus 15T.
OnePlus 15T could be the brand's next compact flagship
Tipster Smart Pikachu took to Weibo to reveal that OnePlus is hard at work preparing the OnePlus 15T for 2026. Just like the OnePlus 13s, the upcoming smartphone will also lean heavily towards the "compact design language", with a 6.3-inch display, metal mid-frame and a glass back.

Moreover, it will also reportedly carry forward the flagship title with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, powering the smartphone. For context, the 13s featured the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. However, the area where the 15T will steer ahead of the 13s is apparently the battery department.
Smart Pikachu claims that the smartphone will bring a 7,000mAh battery to the table. This is impressive considering the overall form factor of the smartphone. Obviously, OnePlus will make use of the silicon-carbon battery tech to achieve this. Even then, this will be an incredible feat considering the fact that the 13s managed to pack only a 5,850mAh unit.

Other than that, the leaker also claims that the OnePlus 15T will bring noticeable upgrades in other departments as well, like the addition of an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. Expect the smartphone to ship with ColorOS 16 in China. Meanwhile, the OxygenOS 16 release date in India has been scheduled for October 16, 2025. Just like with the OnePlus 13s (13T in China), expect the 15T to arrive as OnePlus 15s in India and globally.
Apart from this, no other details for the upcoming compact OnePlus smartphone have leaked so far. It will be nice to see an ultra-wide-angle camera upgrade with the 15T, something which the 13s lacked. That said, we will be sure to report on new details as and when they emerge.
