After multiple teasers and updates, OnePlus has finally made the OnePlus 15T official in China. It has launched as the sequel to the popular OnePlus 13T and retains the same compact form factor and flagship status. The phone features the slimmest bezels on a small phone yet, as well as one of the biggest battery inside a compact smartphone.
OnePlus 15T Specifications and Features
Right off the bat, the OnePlus 15T looks almost identical to the OnePlus 13T. It retains the same square camera deco with more rounded edges and a flat side. The familiar Hasselblad camera branding is also missing like the last-gen model and OnePlus is now using Oppo's LUMO Condensed Light Imaging system. The only visible difference between the two is in terms of the LED flash placement, as it has moved towards the top with the OnePlus 15T.

Alongside the familiar, yet refined design, the 15T also boasts the same display size at 6.3 inches. However, it is now significantly better. The refresh rate has been increased from 120 Hz to 165 Hz. It still offers the same 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display, but now with extremely thin and even bezels at 1.1mm and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The screen is also Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certified.
Even in terms of performance, OnePlus has made no compromises. Just like the 13T, the 15T also pack the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
For software, the OnePlus 15T in China relies on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus is promising 5 years of software and 6 years of security updates for the phone. It comes with several new ColorOS 16 features like Trinity Engine, Luminous Rendering Engine, updated iconography, Oppo AI features and more.

Moreover, when it comes to the battery, the OnePlus 15T is in a league of its own. With a 7,500mAh cell, it is the only 6.32-inch phone in the world with such a huge capacity. OnePlus is using second-gen Silicon Carbon battery tech to achieve this. It also supports fast 100W USB-C charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone comes with several magnetic charging accessories, like a cooling fan and a slim power bank.
Moving on, in terms of cameras, the 15T has received a crucial upgrade. It still missed out on the ultra-wide-angle camera like the 13T. However, the phone now boasts a 50 MP 3.5x Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto camera along with a 50 MP Sony IMX-906 main sensor. The cameras are tuned using Oppo's LUMO Imaging and can now capture photos and videos with higher colour accuracy and clarity. The setup is complemented with a 16 MP Sony IMX-480 selfie camera.
Aside from that, the phone comes with a comprehensive IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K dust and water resistance rating, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, infrared sensor and a USB-C 2.0 port.
OnePlus 15T Pricing and Availability
