It is no surprise that OnePlus is working behind the scenes to launch the OnePlus 15T in China next year. It is shaping up to be a true compact flagship offering. Now, more details about the phone have surfaced online, giving us a good look at the smartphone.
OnePlus 15T retains the compact form but ups the battery game big time
According to tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) on Weibo, the upcoming OnePlus 15T will sport a massive 7,000mAh battery inside. While this has become normal with phones even packing 8,000mAh batteries, it is definitely physics-defying for this phone.

With a 6.3-inch 1.5K 165 Hz AMOLED display, it is evident from DCS's post that the OnePlus 15T will be a compact smartphone. Hence, it will be actually impressive if OnePlus manages to ship it with such a huge capacity.
Moreover, the post mentions the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for the smartphone. This puts it at the flagship territory just like its big brother, the OnePlus 15.

Also, the post mentions a dual 50 MP rear camera setup for the phone. Just like the 13T, the OnePlus 15T will also bring a 50 MP main camera and a 50 MP telephoto lens. Since there is no mention of an ultra-wide angle camera, it is safe to assume it's not present.
As for the other details, DCS has mentioned an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and a metal frame for the phone. It will also come with the magnetic snap-on accessories and back cover, which the OnePlus 13T introduced.
Apart from this, no other details for the upcoming compact OnePlus smartphone are known at the time of writing. With the OnePlus 15s BIS listing going live a few days back, expect this palm-friendly powerhouse to reach Indian shores soon.
