OnePlus is gearing up for a major launch in China on October 27, 2025, where it will unveil the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6. Ahead of the event, the brand has officially released a poster confirming the battery specifications of the Ace 6, AKA the OnePlus 15R.
OnePlus Ace 6 will feature a mammoth battery
The official Weibo account of OnePlus posted a poster highlighting the device's main features, starting with the flat 165Hz OLED display. While it won't be an LTPO panel, it will still feature adaptive refresh rate, toning the display down to 144Hz, 120Hz, 90Hz and 60Hz to preserve battery.

However, the star of the show will be a massive 7,800mAh battery, which is the largest ever seen in a OnePlus smartphone. In comparison, the OnePlus 15 is expected to boast a 7,300mAh Silicon Carbon cell. The battery will be paired with 120W fast charging, though it could skip wireless charging.
OnePlus is also emphasising durability with the Ace 6, featuring a metal frame, an IP69/69K rating and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Powering the device's features could be the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with 16 GB RAM.

Optics-wise, the phone could reportedly feature a 50 MP main camera alongside an 8 MP ultrawide. The front camera is expected to be a 16 MP snapper. The device may also feature OnePlus' DetailMax Engine, now that the OnePlus Hasselblad partnership has ended.
The OnePlus Ace 6 will be a China-specific model, so it will arrive with Oppo's latest ColorOS 16 out of the box. However, the device could launch as the OnePlus 15R in global markets like India.
While the battery on the Ace 6 is impressively huge, it's worth noting that global models may feature a smaller battery due to region constraints and laws. To reiterate, the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6 are launching on October 27, 2025, at 7:00 PM CST (4:30 PM IST). More details and specifications of the OnePlus Ace 6 should pop up as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
