OnePlus Ace 6 First Official Teaser Confirms Big Design Shake-Up

Alongside the much-anticipated OnePlus 15, the OnePlus Ace 6 will also debut soon in China. It will launch in countries like India as the OnePlus 15r. While the official launch is still days away, the brand has officially shared the smartphone's design.

The official Weibo account of OnePlus posted a short teaser revealing the back design and the colour options of the OnePlus Ace 6. The smartphone now features the same redesigned camera deco as that of the OnePlus 15. 

However, the biggest difference this time around is the dual rear camera setup on the Ace 6. The OnePlus Ace 5, aka the OnePlus 13R, launched with a triple rear camera setup. Moreover, the LED flash is embedded inside a black pill-shaped cutout with a noticeable black bottom section. 

Apart from that, the official Oppo China e-store listing of the phone has revealed the Black, Flash White and Quicksilver colour options. While the Black and Flash White options feature a plain matte back panel, the Quicksilver option brings a racetrack-inspired look with its textured back panel and the bold "Ace" branding.

OnePlus Ace 6 could feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite

While OnePlus has not shared many details regarding the Ace 6, the rumour mill has been buzzing. An earlier OnePlus Ace 6 leak revealed the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for the phone. 

Other than that, the smartphone is said to bring an impressive 7,800mAh battery capacity compared to the 6,415mAh cell inside the Ace 5. Apart from this, expect to see a flat 1.5K 120 Hz AMOLED display, 50 MP primary camera and 120W fast USB-C charging. Besides, with the latest ColorOS 16 release, we expect the OnePlus Ace 6 to run it out of the box.

That said, the OnePlus 15 and Ace 6 launch date is scheduled for October 27, 2025, in China. So, expect the brand to share some more details leading up to the launch date.
