OnePlus Ace 6T Battery and Charging Details Confirmed Ahead of Launch

OnePlus has officially started teasing the details of the upcoming Ace 6T in China. The smartphone is going to be the first phone in the country to bring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip. Now, ahead of the launch, the brand has also spilt the tea on the battery and charging information of the smartphone.

Li Jei Louis, President of OnePlus, took to Weibo to confirm that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6T will feature a massive 8,300mAh Silicon Carbon battery and it will also support 100W fast USB-C charging. It will even offer reverse wired charging and bypass charging support. Given that OnePlus bundles the charging brick with the smartphone, expect to see a 100W-rated charger right inside the box.

This brings a 500mAh jump from the OnePlus Ace 6, which managed to pack a 7,800mAh capacity. The difference is even bigger when we consider the 7,300mAh cell inside the OnePlus 15.

Louis claims that internal tests have revealed up to 7 hours of continuous gaming time with the Ace 6T. It is even rated for day-to-day usage and has been able to deliver up to a day's worth of battery life with considerable capacity remaining.

Speaking of gaming, the Ace 6T is also going to become one of the world's first Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 smartphones. It will even feature a 165 Hz refresh rate display for higher FPS gaming and smoother frame rates.

Moreover, early leaks and speculations claim that the smartphone is going to feature a 1.5K LTPS AMOLED display, a 50 MP main camera an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens and an IP68 + IP69K dust and water resistance rating. Also, it goes without saying that the Ace 6T will ship with ColorOS 16 features based on Android 16 out of the box.

That said, since the OnePlus Ace 6T China launch has been set for December 3, 2025, we will just need to wait for a few more days before it goes official. It will launch in India as the OnePlus 15R. OnePlus has already confirmed the Ace 6T colour options. So, we know that it will come in the Flash Black, Phantom Green and Electric Purple hues.
