Looks like OnePlus is prioritising durability for its next performance-focused phone. The OnePlus Ace 6T, aka the OnePlus 15R, has now been confirmed to borrow quite a few flagship features from the OnePlus 15.
OnePlus Ace 6T will feature the IP69K durability rating
Li Jie Louis, the President of OnePlus in China, took to a Weibo post to reveal that the OnePlus Ace 6T will feature the IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. Most phones in the segment typically stop at IP68, making this quite a good bonus to have.

For those unaware, the added IP69 and IP69K ratings mean the Ace 6T can withstand high-pressure, high-temperature water jets and more, making it notably more durable in extreme conditions.
Alongside the upgraded water and dust protection, Li Jie also confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 6T specs will include a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, another feature usually reserved for top-tier phones.

The OnePlus Ace 6T, aka the OnePlus 15R for the Indian and global markets, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. Impressively, just like its elder sibling, the OnePlus 15, it will be capable of gaming at 165 FPS.
From the looks of it, OnePlus is positioning its Ace/R lineup as a performance-centric flagship killer with durability now serving as a highlight. The OnePlus Ace 6T launch in China was teased for November-end recently, so expect to hear more details from the brand in the coming days.
