Last week, the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro launch date in China was confirmed for October 29, 2026. Now, ahead of the launch, the company has revealed the display details of the OnePlus Ace 7 phones and they share a lot of similarities with the high-end OnePlus 16.
OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro to Feature BOE 185 Hz Display
According to the official OnePlus Weibo account, the OnePlus Ace 7 and Ace 7 Pro will run at a 165 Hz system-wide refresh rate and can go even higher at 185 Hz in supported games. This means that users will get the smooth 165 Hz refresh rate everywhere, including menus, apps and scrolling.

Both phones use the same fourth-generation 185 Hz Oriental Screen as the OnePlus 16, which OnePlus co-developed with BOE. The panel uses a custom X4 luminescent material that OnePlus says improves clarity and transparency. The panel also uses a new LTPO circuit, so the refresh rate can adjust to save battery.
Moreover, the upcoming OnePlus phones also get the brand's proprietary Super Display Chip P4, which helps handle high frame-rate content. There’s also a new Bright Eyes Protection feature, developed with MedSight and Vision, for better eye comfort.

OnePlus previously confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 7 Pro will feature a built-in active cooling fan, capable of lowering the phone's temperature by up to 10°C during long gaming sessions. The air intake sits where the fingers are less likely to block it when the phone is held sideways.
Meanwhile, the hot air exits through the top of the phone. OnePlus has also confirmed that the Ace 7 Pro runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
Aside from that, the smartphone is tipped to bring a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display, a 200 MP main camera, a 9,000mAh battery and 120W fast charging.
That said, with the OnePlus Ace 7 series launch just about three days away, expect the brand to reveal a few more details soon. So, stay tuned for all the updates.
