The wait is almost over as the OnePlus N6x is finally launching in India today, on July 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. OnePlus hasn't put out a full spec sheet just yet, but between its own teasers and some rumours, there's enough on the table to know roughly what you're walking into.
OnePlus N6x Design

Design-wise, the OnePlus N6x is a clean break from its sibling, the OnePlus N6. Instead of the squircle camera housing on the N6, the N6x goes with a vertical pill-shaped dual-camera module on the back.
The look is complete with an LED flash, set within a box frame with flat sides and rounded corners. We also see it flaunt a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top.
If the design looks familiar, that's because it closely mirrors last year's OnePlus Nord CE 5. The phone is confirmed to be available in Burgundy Red and Ice Blue colourways at launch.

OnePlus N6x Specifications: What We Know so Far
Just a while back, the OnePlus N6x battery capacity was officially confirmed to be 7,000mAh. The brand also claims up to 2.5 days of usage on a single charge based on its internal lab testing.

That figure will obviously vary depending on how you actually use the phone, but it puts the N6x's battery capacity on par with the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite and the newer Realme P4 Lite 5G.
OnePlus is also positioning the OnePlus N6x as a phone built to survive daily wear and tear, with MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification for shock resistance.

Under the hood, the phone reportedly uses what OnePlus calls the segment's largest vapour chamber at 5,300 mm², aimed at keeping the phone cool during longer or more demanding usage sessions.
On the display front, OnePlus has confirmed an ultra-smooth 120 Hz refresh rate for the N6x. The camera experience also gets a software boost courtesy of a few AI-powered editing tools, including AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, and AI Unblur, designed to clean up shots after the fact.

Apart from this, based on the 3.5mm headphone jack's placement and the confirmed specifications so far, we believe the OnePlus N6x could be a rebrand of the Realme P4 Lite 5G.
If that's indeed the case, expect it to arrive with the Dimensity 6300 chipset, a 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display, a 13 MP primary rear camera and a 5 MP selfie shooter.
