OnePlus has put up an official product page for the Buds Pro 4 on its global website. The company has now confirmed that its next flagship TWS earbuds is coming soon. It succeeds the Buds Pro 3, which was released in 2024 with stronger noise cancellation, longer battery life and new AI features. What is interesting is that Danish audio company Dynaudio has done the sound tuning on the Buds Pro 4.
OnePlus Buds Pro 4 Specifications and Features
The OnePlus Buds Pro 4 keeps the 11mm woofer and 6mm planar tweeter setup from the Buds Pro 3. It has a separate DAC for each earbud. However, the woofer now uses two magnets and a 30-layer ceramic-metal diaphragm.
OnePlus says this increases the bass by 50% over the Buds Pro 3. You also get LHDC 5.0 support for 24-bit/192 kHz Hi-Res audio and Spatial Audio with head tracking.
As for noise cancellation, OnePlus claims the Buds Pro 4 reduces background noise by 2x. Note that the company has not shared a dB rating this time, unlike the 50 dB figure on the previous model. For calls, each earbud features three microphones and a bone-conduction VPU sensor.

On top of that, the Buds Pro 4 supports AI Live Translation, but the feature only works on OnePlus phones running ColorOS 17 or newer. In case you are unaware, OnePlus is phasing out OxygenOS in favour of ColorOS 17.
Other features include Clear Audio Recording with Dolby processing, Gemini voice access and Neck Health posture alerts. It also brings down gaming latency to 39ms with select OnePlus phones.
Coming to battery life, OnePlus says the Buds Pro 4 can last up to 53 hours with the case and ANC off (26 hours with ANC on), compared to 43 hours on the Buds Pro 3. In addition, a 10-minute charge gives up to 14 hours of playback and the case supports wireless charging as well.
The Buds Pro 4 comes in Titanium Shadow and Polar White. It has a matte, pebble-shaped case and a metal ring. The earbuds are rated for IP55, though the case doesn't.
