Here we go again; fresh chatter around whether OnePlus shutting down could become a reality is once again making waves online. However, like previous episodes, the latest narrative comes with more questions than answers.
OnePlus shutting down in US, UK and Europe?
According to reliable tipster Yogesh Brar, OnePlus could be preparing to scale back operations in several key global markets. The speculation suggests that regions like the US, UK and parts of Europe may be impacted, while the brand's China business would continue largely unaffected.

The latest OnePlus shutting down rumour also hints at a strategic shift in markets like India, where the brand could increasingly lean toward budget and mid-range phones instead of traditional flagships.
Notably, this isn't the first time OnePlus dismantled rumours have surfaced. Earlier this year, similar reports suggested that the brand was being "dismantled" internally by Oppo, which the company had quickly denied. In fact, when OnePlus dismantled rumours were denied officially, CEO Robin Liu had assured that operations in India would continue "as usual", urging users to rely on official information.
So, for now, the situation remains firmly in the rumour phase till the brand makes an official statement. We reached out to the brand ourselves and are waiting on a statement. So, till there's an update, we'd recommend taking it all with a pinch of salt.
