OnePlus has confirmed that it is developing a few performance-focused smartphones that will launch next year in China. The all-new OnePlus Turbo series will primarily focus on delivering a big battery life and top-level gaming experience.
OnePlus Turbo series confirmed for 2026
At the 12th Anniversary event of OnePlus in China, the company president, Li Jie Louis, revealed that the brand has been working behind the scenes to launch a new OnePlus Turbo series in China next year. Smartphones launched under this new brand identity will deliver big on performance and battery life.

Moreover, he claims that upon launch, these new phones will become the most value-for-money gaming smartphones on the market. Although Louis has not revealed the names or prices of the smartphones, it is safe to assume that the Turbo series will target the mid-range and upper mid-range segments.
Also, with this refreshed product portfolio, OnePlus is seemingly targeting young users, especially gamers. The brand recorded over 40% year-on-year growth in 2025, a large part of which has been young buyers. So, the upcoming Turbo smartphones are said to pave the way for the brand to attract more young gamers and help OnePlus continue exploring the upper limits of gaming performance in 2026.

As for what these new phones will bring, details are still under wraps. However, early internet chatter believes that the new phone will either pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 or a modified version of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor.
They can also bring close to 9,000mAh battery capacities and a fast 1.5K 165 Hz refresh rate display. All in all, expect to see tweaked variants of the OnePlus Ace 6 and OnePlus Ace 6T with these new Turbo series smartphones.
