OnePlus Turbo Phone Lands on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4

A few days back, OnePlus confirmed that it is developing a new Turbo series for China which will launch as performance-focused smartphones. The new lineup will primarily focus on delivering a big battery life and top-level gaming experience. Now, the Geekbench listing of one of the smartphones has gone live, revealing the kind of firepower it will pack.

OnePlus Turbo with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 emerges online

Reliable tipster Tech Info revealed via X that a new OnePlus smartphone has been listed on Geekbench with the OnePlus PLU110 model number. It has managed to rack up 2,124 points in the single-core test, with 6,880 points in the multi-core test. It has also revealed the presence of 16 GB RAM and Android 16. As per the leaker, the smartphone in question is the upcoming OnePlus Turbo phone.

As for the processor, the listing mentions an octa-core SoC with 2 cores clocked at 2.02 GHz, 2 cores clocked at 2.80 GHz, 3 cores clocked at 3.01 GHz and 1 core clocked at 3.21 GHz. Given how familiar the CPU cluster is, it seems like the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 will power the OnePlus Turbo.

Additionally, Tech Info also claims that the phone will support 144 Hz stable frame in Honor of Kings, 165 Hz native frame rate in Call of Duty and 165 Hz in Naruto. The smartphone will also allegedly pack a 9,000mAh battery capacity.

Aside from that, the tipster has not shed any more light on the upcoming smartphone. However, as per tipster Abhishek Yadav, there is a possibility that the OnePlus Turbo will also launch in India. He has revealed that a new phone with the "Volkswagen" codename is being prepped for India and global markets. Even the India unit will also bring a 9,000mAh battery.
