Oppo A6x 5G Specifications and India Pricing Leak Ahead of Launch

After launching the Find X9 series in India a while back, it looks like Oppo is gearing up to introduce a new "A" series phone in the country. The Oppo A6x specs and price in India have now surfaced online, giving us a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming phone.

Oppo A6x 5G packs a massive battery in the budget 

Tipster Abhishek Yadav took to X to post the specs and pricing of the upcoming Oppo phone. According to the tipster, the Oppo A6x price in India will be set at Rs 15,499 for the 4 GB + 128 GB variant.

It is going to be another budget offering in the country and based on the specs, it looks like the A6x 5G will not bring a major spec upgrade when compared to the Oppo A5x 5G, which launched back in May 2025. For instance, while both phones feature the same 120 Hz HD+ LCD display, the A6x 5G features a bigger 6.75-inch panel, up from 6.6 inches.

Moreover, the A6x 5G is said to pack a bigger battery at 6,500mAh compared to the 6,000mAh cell in the A5x. However, just like the earlier model, the A6x will also bring 45W fast USB-C charging. Besides, due to the increase in battery size, the A6x 5G is said to be getting thicker at 8.58mm and heavier at 212 grams.

Interestingly, in the camera department, the A6x 5G is said to get a downgraded 13 MP main camera in comparison to the 32 MP main shooter on the A5x. However, it will reportedly retain the same 5 MP front camera.

Performance-wise, the upcoming phone could use the same Dimensity 6300 processor as its predecessor. Aside from that, the Oppo A6x 5G is also said to sport an IP64 rating like the A5x.

That said, at the time of writing, none of the details have been officially confirmed, so take them with a pinch of salt.
