Oppo has officially unveiled the A7 Pro in China as an endurance-focused budget offering. The smartphone packs a large battery and arrives at a price that won't leave a hole in buyer's pockets.
Oppo A7 Pro Specifications and Features
Starting with the design, the Oppo A7 Pro boasts a pretty youthful design. The smartphone features a horizontal camera module consisting of what looks like two lenses alongside a circular LED ring. The chassis and back are made of plastic, and the front looks quite clean with almost symmetrical bezels.

Speaking of which, Oppo A7 Pro boasts a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It's a flexible 10-bit AMOLED panel with a 1000 Hz touch sampling rate and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Powering the smartphone is a Dimensity 6360 Max octa-core chipset. It boasts 2x Cortex-A76 cores clocked up to 2.4 GHz alongside 6x Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0 GHz, and is manufactured on a 6 nm process. Complementing the performance are up to 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Fueling the internals is a massive 8,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging. Optics-wise, there's only one main 50 MP wide f/1.9 snapper, while the front hosts an 8 MP f/2.1 snapper for selfies. Running the show is Android 16-based ColorOS 16 with several new AI features, including fraud protection tools.
Connectivity-wise, the smartphone boasts dual SIM with 5G NR, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 5, NFC and a USB 2.0 Type-C port. Security is handled by an under-display optical fingerprint sensor alongside software-based facial recognition.

The Oppo A7 Pro's base 6 GB + 256 GB variant costs 2,199 Yuan (approximately Rs 31,000) and goes all the way to 2,499 Yuan (approximately Rs 35,000) for the 8 GB + 256 GB variant. There are three colours on offer Grey, Pink and Blue.
The phone is up for pre-orders on the Oppo China storefront, and shipping starts from September 11, 2026. While India availability is currently unknown, reports suggest the Oppo A7 Pro could be rebranded as Oppo F35. More details should be revealed soon, so stay tuned.
