When it comes to folding phones, Oppo has managed to make a name for itself in the space. From the first Oppo Find to the 2025 Find N5, the brand has managed to launch some seriously beefed-out book-style foldable. Now, it looks like the same trend will continue in 2026 with the launch of the Find N6.
Oppo Find N6 aims to grab the "world's first" crown with an "Elite" inclusion
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed via Weibo that Oppo is prepping the Find N6 folding phone with the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor from Qualcomm. This doesn't come as a big surprise, since the Find N5 shipped with last year's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Hence, we do expect the brand to spec-out its upcoming folding phone as well.

The interesting bit of this revelation is the launch timeline. With the Find N5 launch back in February 2025, Oppo managed to become the first folding phone vendor to incorporate the latest processor from Qualcomm. So, if the Find N6 follows the same trajectory, which we believe it will, it could very easily hold the crown for the first foldable phone with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
Now, we cannot be sure that this is what is about to happen with confirmation. This is just speculation at the time of wiring. So, take this info with a grain of salt. Additionally, if we were to believe DCS, the Find N6 is reportedly getting an almost 8.1-inch inner folding display and a close to 6.6-inch outer main screen. This will hint at almost no change in the display size, since the Find N5 also sports almost similar dimensions.

Other than that, the post has also mentioned the existence of a 50 MP Sony LYT-808 main camera with 1.1.4-inch sensor size and a 50 MP 3x periscope telephoto camera. The third camera remains undisclosed, but we believe it could also sport 50 MP resolution.
Apart from that, DCS claims that Find N6 will maintain its thin and lightweight stature just like the Find N5 which was impressively sleek at just 4.21mm when unfolded and weighed under 230 grams. Expect to see all the regular bells and whistles with the Find N6 like the presence of a customisable AI button, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and more.
That said, this is technically the first time we are hearing about the smartphone. So, as expected, details are scarce. However, expect more details to surface soon once the launch timeline inches closer.
