Display manufacturer Tianma has officially announced its second-generation Tiangong screen. It is a high-end OLED panel that prioritises eye comfort and low-brightness performance. Unveiled at the company's recent OLED technology event in Xiamen, this new panel is confirmed to debut on the upcoming OPPO Find X10 series.
Oppo Find X10 Series Display will be Easier on the Eyes
Instead of relying on software-based filters that artificially tint the screen yellow, the Tiangong Screen 2.0 changes the emission spectrum at the source using a new N1 primary-colour spectrum material to reduce eye strain.

The panel achieves this by reducing blue light in the 415-455 nm spectrum by 38%, dropping it from 6% to just 3.7%. The display also boosts the more comfortable deep-red light tones typically found in the 650 - 670 nm range by 160%, increasing their presence from 2.1% to 5.5%.
Coming to its colour accuracy, the display covers 95% of the ultra-wide BT.2020 colour gamut. This means it produces a substantially larger and more neutral spectrum of colours. The brightness consistency has been improved by 18%, and chroma uniformity has been increased by 50% for a consistent viewing experience.
While previous-generation displays hit a 1-nit minimum, the new Tiangong Screen 2.0 uses Tianma's AI De-Mura algorithm to reach an even dimmer 0.01 nits. This also improves low-brightness uniformity by 30%, making sure the brightness and colours are consistent even in extremely dark environments.

The Tianma 2nd Gen displays also boast a colour accuracy of dE < 0.6. In layman's terms, this should help users see colours more accurately and aid in creative tasks like photo and video editing. The display also consumes much less power, while the overall lifespan of the OLED panel has been extended by 30%.
Oppo is expected to pack the fourth-generation Luminous Tianma substrate in the Oppo Find X10 series. It may consist of the standard Find X10, X10 Pro and X10 Pro Max smartphones. Beyond displays, the phones are expected to be powered by Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset.
With the Find X10 series China launch expected in September 2026, more information about the smartphones should surface soon. Until then, stay tuned.
