Oppo recently teased a new K-series smartphone for India. The brand has now revealed it to be the Oppo K14x 5G. Alongside that, we also get to know when the phone is launching and some of its key specifications.
Oppo K14x 5G India launch set for next week
The official Oppo India X handle has confirmed that Oppo K14x 5G will launch in India on February 10, 2026. It will go official via the e-commerce website Flipkart at 12:00 PM IST. The microsite has also given us a look at the design of the phone along with some of its core specifications.
Compared to the Oppo K13x 5G, the upcoming phone brings a noticeable shift in design. It now borrows its looks from last year's Oppo K13 Turbo series with its pill-shaped dual camera deco and flat sides. The back panel has a noticeable geometric pattern at the bottom half of the back panel. It has been revealed in Violet and Light Blue colourways.
As for the specs, the Oppo K14x 5G will bring the biggest upgrade in the battery department, with a 6,500mAh cell capacity. This is 500mAh extra when compared to the 6,000mAh battery inside the K13x 5G. However, the charging capacity remains the same at 45W.
Other than that, Oppo has confirmed a 120 Hz LCD display for the phone with 1,125 nits of brightness, a 50 MP main camera sensor and ColorOS update. From the looks of it, there isn't going to be a huge generational leap between the K13x 5G and the K14x 5G.
There is a possibility that the smartphone will bring ColorOS 16 features out of the box. However, the brand has not explicitly mentioned that. That said, since the launch has been scheduled in just a few days time, expect Oppo to reveal more details shortly. We expect the phone to launch under Rs 15,000 in India.
