The Oppo K15 is now official in China, becoming the third smartphone in the brand's K15 lineup. While positioned below the Oppo K15 Pro and K15 Pro+, the regular K15 still packs several gaming-focused features, including an active cooling fan.
Oppo K15 Specifications and Features
Kicking things off with the display, the Oppo K15 sports a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 240 Hz touch sampling rate and up to 1,200 nits of peak brightness.
The display size and resolution on the standard model are identical to those of the Oppo K15 Pro. However, the latter offers a 165 Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super processor (overclocked Dimensity 7360 chipset) and is paired with 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Out of the box, the phone runs on the ColorOS 16 update based on Android 16.
One of the key features of the Oppo K15 is its built-in active cooling fan. This brings the standard model on par with the Oppo K15 Pro and the top-end Oppo K15 Pro+. This implementation is designed to maintain sustained peak performance during gaming while keeping temperatures normal.
The cooling fan is paired with 4,950 mm² vapour chamber cooling for added thermal dissipation. Moreover, the overall design of the phone is also gaming-centric and brings parity across the K15 lineup with a similar backplate look.
The phone also features an RGB breathing light which can interact with games, notifications, calls and more.
Moving on, for cameras, the Oppo K15 brings a dual-rear-camera setup, featuring a 50 MP main and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera is also a 50 MP shooter. Both the rear and front cameras support up to 4K @ 30 FPS video recording.
Battery is another area where the Oppo K15 shines, as it comes with an 8,000mAh cell capacity and supports 80W fast charging.
As for the rest of the specs, the phone brings an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, an infrared sensor, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, dual SIM 5G and a USB-C 2.0 port. The phone is also IP69-rated.

Oppo K15 Pricing and Availability
As for pricing, the Oppo K15 costs 2,299 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 33,000) for the single 12 GB + 256 GB model. The phone is already on sale in China and comes in Speed White and Gale Grey colour options.
There is no word yet on whether the Oppo K15 will come to India. However, if the phone manages to offer the same specs at a competitive price point, it could become an instant hit amongst the smartphone gaming community. We will have to wait and see if that happens.
