iQOO has officially opened registrations for the Origin OS 6 Preview Program for its flagship iQOO 13 smartphone. This initiative allows select users to experience Vivo's upcoming and revamped UI, which is based on Android 16.
OriginOS 6 Preview Program Registration is live for iQOO 13
Shankar Singh, Product Manager at iQOO in India, took to X to break the news officially. The announcement highlights Origin OS 6's refreshed design, deeper customisations and smarter AI capabilities. iQOO is calling it the "smoothest Android OS yet".

Users of the iQOO 13 who wish to participate must ensure their device is running Funtouch OS 15 version 15.0.13.9 or newer. They can then sign up by going to System Update in Settings and then tapping on the three-dot menu > Version Trial > Closed Beta Sign-Up.
They will then be asked to complete and submit a registration form, after which the iQOO team will review them and notify eligible users who have been selected to participate.

For those unaware, iQOO 13 launched with Android 15 out of the box, and Origin OS 6 will be its first update. The OriginOS 6 release date in China is scheduled for October 10, 2025, and globally (including India), it will be released on October 15, 2025. But the firm has yet to announce a rollout timeline for supported devices.
Some of the Origin OS 6 features include a revamped lock screen with more customisations, widgets and notification stacking and cross ecosystem features.
As for Vivo devices, Origin OS 6 Beta is already available for the Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro in China and will soon be available in India too. Speaking of which, the upcoming Vivo X300 series is expected to arrive with Origin OS 6 out of the box.
