Pebble has launched a new screenless wellness band in India, called the Qore Vox. The wearable combines health and fitness tracking features with voice recording and AI-powered transcription.
Pebble Qore Vox Offers AI Voice Recording and Transcription
One of the biggest highlights of the Pebble Qore Vox is its built-in voice recording functionality. Users can double-press the side button to start recording conversations, meetings, lectures or ideas.
The band can store up to 100 minutes of audio locally, allowing users to record even without their smartphones connected. Once connected to the Pebbel Vox app, users can access AI-powered transcriptions and summaries of their recordings.
These can also be shared through WhatsApp or email. Notably, Pebble says that the transcription and summarisation features do not require a subscription or additional processing fees and there are no usage limits.
The app supports transcription in English, seven Indian languages and 24 international languages. The supported Indian languages include Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Bengali and Punjabi.
For privacy, the wearable features an outward-facing blue indicator light that turns on whenever recording is active. Audio recordings, transcripts and summaries also remain stored on the user's smartphone.
