Both phones will be positioned as budget battery-focused smartphones, with standout capacity and a special focus on performance.
Poco C81 and Poco C81x India Launch Date Confirmed For April 23
The official Poco India X account and a dedicated Flipkart microsite have confirmed the Poco C81 and Poco C81x launch date in India for April 23, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Positioned as successors to last year's Poco C71, both phones are marketed as all-round performance champions with special emphasis on battery capacity.

The Poco C81 has been confirmed to feature a 6,300mAh battery with 15W fast USB-C and 7.5W reverse wired charging support. Meanwhile, the Poco C81x will offer a smaller 5,200mAh capacity and will also feature 15W wired and 7.5W reverse wired charging.
In terms of design, the Poco C81 resembles the Poco C85x 5G with its pill-shaped camera island and a dual-tone design. As for the Poco C81x, it goes for a minimal unibody look with a distinctly different pill-shaped camera module, similar to the Poco X8 Pro.
Specifications-wise, while there is no information regarding the Poco C81x yet, the teaser image confirms a 13 MP main camera for the Poco C81. It is also expected to offer a 6.9-inch 120 Hz LCD, a Unisoc processor and HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. That said, at the time of writing, most details about the Poco C81 and Poco C81x are still under wraps. However, since the launch is in just two days, we shall hear more details shortly.
