Poco has finally unveiled the Poco F8 series globally, and it currently comprises two phones – the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra. The smartphones boast impressive specifications, including the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, alongside massive batteries and a unique innovation that should please all the audio heads and content consumers out there.
Poco F8 Ultra features 2.1 Sound by Bose Speaker Setup
The Poco F8 Ultra boasts a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness, whereas the Pro boasts a smaller 6.58-inch 120 Hz AMOLED panel with similar specifications. The display resolution is FHD+ with support for 2,560 Hz PWM dimming.

While both phones feature Sound by Bose, the Poco F8 Ultra distinctly stands out with a Bose subwoofer on the camera module, delivering a 2.1 channel sound experience. Poco claims it boasts a 250 mm2 vibration chamber and can deliver up to 200 Hz of bass at 7W maximum output.
Powering the Poco F8 Ultra is the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, whereas the Poco F8 Pro features the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both processors are octa-core units, but the 8 Elite Gen 5 uses Nuvia's 3rd Generation Oryon cores. Storage-wise, there's UFS 4.1 and LPDDR5X RAM on both phones.

Optics-wise, both phones boast a triple camera setup with Xiaomi's new Light Hunter 800 and 950 sensors. The primary camera on the Poco F8 Ultra is a 50 MP Light Hunter 950 sensor, whereas it's a 50 MP Light Hunter 800 on the F8 Pro. The front cameras on both phones are 20 MP OV20B40 units.
Coming to the telephoto lenses, the F8 Pro gets a 50 MP OmniVision OV50M sensor with 2.5x optical zoom. The F8 Ultra, on the other hand, gets a 50 MP Samsung JN5 sensor with a 5x periscope telephoto lens. As for the ultrawide, the Poco F8 Ultra gets a 50 MP OV50M, whereas the Pro gets an 8 MP OV08F unit.

Powering the internals of the F8 Ultra and F8 Pro are 6,500mAh and 6,210mAh batteries, which are both capable of charging at 100W. The Ultra also features up to 50W wireless charging.
Software-wise, both phones ship with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 out of the box, making them the first Poco series in the list of HyperOS 3-supported devices. Some of the HyperOS 3 features include AI lock screen wallpapers, cross-ecosystem integration and more.

Lastly, miscellaneous features include an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, USB 3.2 (Ultra) Type-C and an in-display Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
Both the Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra will be available in two storage variants – 12 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 512 GB. Colour options include Titanium Silver, Blue and Black on the Poco F8 Pro and Black, White and Denim Blue on the Poco F8 Ultra.

Global pricing for the base variant of the Poco F8 Pro starts from $579 (approximately Rs 52,000), while the Poco F8 Ultra starts from $729 (approximately Rs 65,000). Poco also has early-bird offers where it's offering the F8 Pro for $529 (approximately Rs 47,000) and the F8 Ultra for $679 (approximately Rs 60,000).

The phones will be available for purchase via the Poco store and authorised online retailers, and go on sale starting today, i.e, November 26, 2025. While the global event was hosted in Bali, Indonesia, chances are, Poco could host an India-specific launch event later in 2025.
There's currently no information about whether both the Poco F8 Pro and Ultra will launch in the subcontinent. However, we should hear more from the Poco India team once the devices are unveiled. Stay tuned!
