The Poco M8 Pro has gone official globally alongside the regular M8. However, while the Poco M8 made it to India today as well, the Pro is going to be limited to the global markets (at least for now). It comes with a bunch of upgrades over the regular model, from a significantly better processor, a bigger battery and more.
Poco M8 Pro Specifications and Features
The Poco M8 Pro features a 6.83-inch 1.5K CrystalRes OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, delivering fluid scrolling and sharp visuals. With a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits, the display is designed to remain easily readable even under direct sunlight. Protection is handled by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, while the curved design gives the phone a more premium look and feel.

To further take the multimedia experience to the next level, the M8 Pro features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio support.
Under the hood, the Poco M8 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, offering a significant performance boost over its predecessor and even the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 of the regular Poco M8. The chipset is paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
In the camera department, the Poco M8 Pro is equipped with a 50 MP primary rear camera with OIS, coupled with an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor for wider shots. For selfies and video calls, the phone includes a 32 MP front camera.
Battery life is one of the phone's key highlights, with the Poco M8 Pro packing a 6,500mAh battery, which is complemented by 100W fast charging support, allowing the phone to charge fully in under an hour. It also supports reverse wired charging, enabling users to power other phones when needed.
Durability is another area where the Poco M8 Pro stands out. The phone comes with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings, offering protection against dust, water immersion and high-pressure water jets. Features such as Wet Touch 2.0 ensure reliable touch response even with wet fingers.

On the software side, the Poco M8 Pro runs on HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15. However, it's a rather strange choice to go with Android 15 in 2026, although the phone is part of the HyperOS 3.0 supported devices list. Connectivity options include 5G support, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4, ensuring the phone is well-equipped for modern usage.
The Poco M8 Pro price has been set aggressively, starting at 309.99 euros (approximately Rs 32,500) for the base 8 GB + 256 GB model. Currently, the phone is rolling out in the UK and several European countries. However, the Poco M8 Pro launch in India is expected to be held sometime in February 2026.
