Poco is adding the final touches to its upcoming X8 Pro lineup. The series is expected to launch globally on March 17, 2026, and consist of the Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max. The Poco X8 Pro Geekbench listing surfaced a while back and now, the X8 Pro Max has appeared on the benchmarking platform, further solidifying what leaks have already been suggesting.
Poco X8 Pro Max to offer sub-flagship level performance
Two variants of the Poco X8 Pro Max have appeared on Geekbench – the Global version with the model number 2602BPC18G and the Indian variant with the model number 2602BPC18I. Both test units pack MediaTek Dimensity 9500s with 12 GB of RAM and run Android 16.

The test results suggest that performance is nearly identical on both units. The global edition hit 2,659 in single-core and 8,369 in multi-core, while the Indian unit scored 2,616 and 8,401. These scores provide our first real look at the Dimensity 9500s, which is also expected to power the upcoming Oppo Find X9s.
Built as a scaled-down alternative to the Dimensity 9500, the 's' variant features a Cortex-X925 prime core clocked at 3.73 GHz, 3x Cortex-X4 cores clocked at 3.3 GHz, and 4x Cortex-A720 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz. Powering the graphical performance will be a Mali-G925 Immortalis MC11 GPU.

The standard Poco X8 Pro will step down to a Dimensity 8500 chip. Besides the processor, the Poco X8 Pro Max could feature a 10-bit 6.83-inch 1.5K 120Hz display, a whopping 9,000mAh battery with 100W charging and a 50 MP main camera.
To reiterate, the official Poco X8 series global launch is set for March 17, 2026, while the India launch might be set for March 26, 2026. Both the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max are expected to arrive in India as upper-mid-range and sub-flagship offerings, so stay tuned for more details.
