The Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max have been rumour mill favourites as of late and the former has now made an appearance on Geekbench ahead of any official announcements. This Geekbench listing gives us a good idea of the kind of performance we can expect from the upcoming phone.

Poco X8 Pro Geekbench listing reveals key specs

Spotted by folks over at tech publication Smartprix, the Poco X8 Pro has appeared on Geekbench 6.6.0 with the model number 2511FPC34G. The phone manages to score 1,708 points in the single-core score and 6,297 points in the multi-core score.

Thanks to the Poco X8 Pro Geekbench listing, we know the architecture of the chipset powering it. There are four cores clocked at 2.20 GHz, three cores clocked at 3.20 GHz and a single prime core clocked at 3.40 GHz.

While the listing doesn't explicitly mention the processor powering the phone, the hints strongly suggest it to be the Dimensity 8500 SoC. In fact, the publication notes that it's the custom slightly overclocked "Ultra" variant of the chipset. If that's the case, the scores do seem on the lower side of things, hinting at it being a prototype device.

Additionally, the Poco X8 Pro Geekbench listing reveals that the phone will run on Android 16 out of the box, which is indeed surprising. With a bunch of HyperOS 3 supported devices still not having received the update and even a couple of newer phones running on HyperOS 2 out of the box, it's good to see the Poco X8 Pro lineup potentially running on the latest software.

Apart from this, the listing reveals the presence of a variant offering 12 GB RAM, although there will certainly be more variants available at launch.

Earlier this month, the Poco X8 Pro series prices and design leaked due to an accidental official listing. So, we already know what the phones will look like and they will indeed be the rebranded Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max, respectively. Now, while the Poco X8 Pro price could start from 399 Euros (approximately Rs 43,000), the X8 Pro Max could start at 529 Euros (approximately Rs 56,500).
