Poco X8s Specifications and Features
Starting with the design, the Poco X8s looks a lot like its more expensive cousin, the Xiaomi 17, minus the extended rectangular camera island. The front is pretty clean with a hole-punch notch and uniform bezels all across.
Arriving with a compact 6.35-inch LTPO AMOLED display, it's sharp at 1.5K resolution and smooth at a 120 Hz refresh rate. It can also get as bright as 3,500 nits. It's an M10 panel with 12-bit colour depth and HDR10+ support. There are also stereo speakers to offer a good multimedia experience.
Carrying the performance of the phone is a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. It's complemented by up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Additionally, the phone boasts Poco's 3D Iceloop system to help keep the device cool.
Optics-wise, the Poco X8s packs a 50 MP Light Fusion 800 main camera with OIS and an f/1.77 aperture, which is the same image sensor as the Poco F8 Pro. There's also a 50 MP f/2.2 telephoto lens and an 8 MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera. The front packs a 20 MP snapper for selfies.
The internals are powered by a 6,330mAh battery supported by 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging. Software-wise, the phone runs on HyperOS 3.0 based on Android 16.
In addition, the phone measures 151.1 x 71.8 x 8.06mm and weighs 187 grams.
Coming to connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, dual SIM with dual 5G, and features stereo speakers. Additionally, there's an Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for security, alongside an IP68 water resistance rating.
