Looks like Realme isn't quite done with the Realme 16 series, as it is reportedly planning to add one more smartphone to the lineup. The Realme 16x 5G has now surfaced online as seemingly the most budget offering in the lineup, sitting alongside the Realme 16, Realme 16 Pro and Realme 16 Pro+.
Realme 16x 5G Colour Options and Variants Leaked
Reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav took to X to share that the Realme 16x 5G India launch is imminent. As per his tweet, the phone carries the model number RMX5270. The phone is also said to arrive in Endurance Brown and Glory White colourways.
Additionally, the tipster claims that the upcoming Realme phone will come in the 4 GB + 128 GB, 6 GB + 128 GB and 6 GB + 256 GB variants.
While nothing else is known about the Realme 16x 5G, it appears the phone will sit below the Realme 16 5G as the most affordable option in the series. Realme could be looking to fill the Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 segment, as the Realme P4 Lite 5G already exists below that.
Realme 16x 5G Specifications (Expected)
Although the rumour mill hasn't spilt the beans on the Realme 16x 5G specifications, we can draw some assumptions on the basis of the last generation. Due to the ongoing RAM crisis, we don't expect to see any big upgrades from the Realme 15x 5G.
We could expect the Realme 16x to arrive with the same 6.8-inch HD+ 144 Hz display and 7,000mAh battery. Apart from that, the phone could also retain the 50 MP primary rear camera and under the hood, it could be powered by the Dimensity 6300 chipset. However, to justify the price jump, Realme could pack in a better processor like the Dimensity 7400.
That's all that can be said about the Realme 16x 5G for now. However, expect the brand to start teasing the Realme 16 5G India launch soon. So, stay tuned.
