A short while back, the Realme 16T India launch was confirmed for May and now the brand has also revealed that it will launch two new IoT products at the same event. The Realme Buds Air 8 Pro and the Realme Watch S5 are launching on the same day as part of the brand's connected ecosystem offering.
Realme Buds Air 8 Pro and Watch S5 Launch in India Set for May 22
The official Realme India X account has confirmed that alongside the Realme 16T, the Realme Buds Air 8 Pro TWS and Watch S5 smartwatch will also launch in India on May 22, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Alongside the launch date, Realme has also revealed several of the key details of both products.

Starting with the Buds Air 8 Pro, it will launch as a follow-up to the Realme Buds Air 8 in India and is confirmed to bring several improvements, including the support for LHDC and Hi-Res audio. The TWS is confirmed to bring a dual DAC 11mm drivers with 6mm micro planar tweeters.
The TWS is also confirmed to feature 55dB of Active Noise Cancellation and support for 3D Spatial Audio and Golden Sound tuning. It will come fitted with a 3-mic per earbud setup and is said to use AI Call Noise Cancellation for clarity in every kind of situation.
For gaming, the Buds Air 8 Pro will come with 55ms of Low Latency and up to 50 hours of playback time for continuous usage. It will also come with Ask Ai and NEXT Ai integration for hands-free AI interaction and live translation. The earbuds will be IP55 rated, come with touch controls and can connect to three devices at once. At launch, the TWS will be sold in Master White and Master Black colourways.
As for the Realme Watch S5, it is confirmed to arrive with a circular AMOLED display with 1,500 nits of peak brightness, Always on Display (AOD) support and smart night vision capabilities. The watch is rated for 5 ATM water resistance, making it perfect for swimming and accidental spillage.
It will feature 110 sports modes, offer 24/7 AI health monitoring, one-touch AI assistant support, built-in GPS with 5 GNSS and a battery life of up to 20 days on a single charge.
That said, both Realme Buds Air 8 Pro and Realme Watch S5 are launching in India next week and we should hear more about them shortly.
