Realme is reportedly preparing to launch a new C-series smartphone in India later this November 2025. The Realme C85, which recently launched in Vietnam, could arrive as an affordable mid-range offering in India.
The Realme C85 could arrive with Dimensity 6300
The post from Abhishek Yadav on X initially mentioned a "Realme G85", but that appears to be a typo. It's actually the Realme C85, which will be positioned as a more cost-effective phone. The phone was recently launched in Vietnam alongside the Realme C85 Pro with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor.

The core specifications of the Realme C85 are quite similar to the Realme 15x, which launched in India earlier in October 2025. The Realme C85 is expected to be slightly more affordable due to its downgraded camera system. Here are the key specifications of the phone:
- MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset
- 6.8-inch HD+ display with 144Hz refresh rate
- 7,000mAh battery with 45W charging
- Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15
- 50 MP rear and 8 MP front camera
- Expandable memory of up to 256 GB

While there's no information on the potential pricing of the device, considering the downgraded cameras, it should be a bit affordable. And if the report holds, the Realme C85 could appeal to budget-conscious users who are willing to sacrifice camera performance to save some money.
Additionally, Abhishek also suggests that Redmi could launch the Redmi 15C by the end of this month, whereas the Redmi Note 15 series is expected to arrive in January 2025.
Realme should reveal more about the upcoming Realme C85 as we inch closer to the unannounced launch date. The phone could be launched silently, much like most of Realme's mid-range offerings.
