Realme is expected to launch the GT 8 series in October in China, which could consist of the Realme GT 8 and GT 8 Pro. A few new details about the vanilla GT 8's potential display and battery specifications have emerged.
According to user Smart Pikachu on Weibo, the Realme GT 8 could feature a 6.6-inch flat display, which may likely be an OLED display like on the GT 8 Pro. Despite rocking a smaller screen, the phone could feature a 7,000mAh battery.

While that's all the user revealed about the standard GT 8, we already know from a previous leak that both the GT 8 and GT 8 Pro may arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. Additionally, both devices could launch with Realme UI 7, based on Android 16.
Realme could be prepping better haptics in Realme GT 8 Pro alongside a 6.85-inch 2K OLED display, an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and a much larger battery with 100W fast charging. Besides, the phone is also rumoured to feature a 200 MP periscope camera with Samsung's new HP9 sensor.

We expect the ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and better haptics and speaker upgrades to make it to the vanilla GT 8. More information about the Realme GT 8 series should pop up as we inch closer to the launch, which is expected to be sometime in October.
Rumours also suggest that the Realme GT 8 Pro could be costlier due to the inclusion of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, and may end up coming at around 3,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 50,000). The standard Realme GT 8 should be a tad bit cheaper. Stay tuned as we cover all the latest developments in the series as it inches closer to launch.
