Redmi recently launched the Redmi K90 series and it appears to be already planning for the Redmi K100 series. The latest leak provides a glimpse into the potential codenames, model numbers, and model names of the Redmi K100 series, both in China and Global markets.

Redmi K100 Series could use Qualcomm Chipsets

According to the findings from Xiaomitime, the Redmi K100 series will consist of two models – Redmi K100 and the Redmi K100 Pro Max. That's nothing new, as the predecessor lineup also included the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max.

Now, the leak suggests the standard K100 model could bear the codename Athens with an internal model number Q11. The higher-end K100 Pro Max variant may be codenamed Songyuan with the model number Q11X.

The leak reveals that the upcoming Redmi phones will arrive with "high-performance" Qualcomm processors, although it doesn't reveal which ones. Most important of all, consistent with its global strategy, the K100 series could launch as the Poco F9 Pro and Poco F9 Pro Max.

For those unaware, the Redmi K90 series also debuted with Qualcomm chipsets, with the standard Redmi K90 featuring the Snapdragon 8 Elite, while the Redmi K90 Pro Max uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

One of the highlights of the more expensive variant was the Bose 2.1 channel speaker setup, which provides one of the best audio experiences on a smartphone. We expect the K100 series to continue offering the same.

More information about the Redmi K100 series should start surfacing as we inch closer to a potential launch in September or October 2026, so stay tuned.
