The rumour mill surrounding the Redmi K100 lineup has been going strong for months. While the official launch is still far off, most of the details around the smartphones have already surfaced. However, the latest leak reveals every possible key specification of the series, including the display, cameras and battery specs.
Redmi K100 Key Specifications Tipped
The leaks arrive courtesy of Digital Chat Station, which has laid out all the key specifications of the Redmi K100 series. The Redmi K100 series could consist of the K100 and K100 Pro Max, and they could arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset complemented by an 8,000mAh battery or above. Besides, the series will also feature flat AMOLED displays with up to 185 Hz refresh rate.

The information also details symmetrical dual speakers and 50W wireless charging. Optics-wise, the phones could boast 200 MP primary sensors alongside a Telemacro unit for close-up shots. DCS also adds that the phone is fully waterproof, meaning an IP68/IP69 rating, and the back is made of Glass.
For security, Redmi will seemingly use a 3D Ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. And for those unaware, the Redmi K100 series is not expected to launch until September 2026. Since this is very early info, we'd suggest taking it with a grain of salt.

While that's all DCS has in store for us, a few industry insiders have suggested that the series could see a sharp price increase due to the ongoing RAM crisis. The vanilla Redmi K100 is rumoured to start from 3,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 56,000), much higher than the 2,599 Yuan launch price of the Redmi K90.
That said, we don't have an official launch timeline for the series yet. Although considering the Redmi K90 series launched in October 2025, we expect the K100 series to arrive around the same time this year.
In any case, the K100 series is expected to launch globally as the Poco F9 series in Q1 2027. More information about the same should surface as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
