The Redmi K90 Ultra is confirmed to launch in China next week as a more affordable alternative to the Redmi K90 Max. Alongside the launch date, the company has also revealed the phone's design, pricing and several key specifications ahead of its debut.

Redmi K90 Ultra To Launch in China on June 30

The official Redmi Weibo account has confirmed that the Redmi K90 Ultra will launch on June 30, 2026, at 19:00 CST (or 4:30 PM IST) in China. Additionally, the brand has confirmed that the phone will be priced under 3,000 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 42,000), positioning it below the Redmi K90 Max.

Alongside the Redmi K90 Ultra launch date, we also get a good look at the design of the smartphone. The Redmi K90 Ultra is confirmed to arrive in the same Space Silver colourway as the K90 Max. It also borrows a lot of its design elements from the Max, sporting the same horizontal camera plateau with dual rear cameras and an active cooling fan. At the bottom of the camera island, there's also an airflow vent to better dissipate heat.

Redmi calls this the Vortex Airflow Design, which can lower the phone's temperature by up to 10°C in under 100 seconds. The brand also claims that the cooling fan produces just 32 dB of noise even at max speeds. Aside from that, we see the power and volume buttons placed on the right side of what appears to be a metal frame.

Additionally, Redmi has also confirmed a few of the phone's key specifications. For starters, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is slightly underpowered compared to the Dimensity 9500 chipset in the K90 Max.

As for the rest of the details, leaks and reports claim that the Redmi K90 Ultra will feature a 1.5K 165 Hz OLED display and flaunt an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. It is also expected to pack a massive 8,500mAh battery, paired with 100W USB-C fast charging. The phone could also come with the IP68 + IP69 ratings.

With the Redmi K90 Ultra now confirmed to launch next week, we only have to wait for a few more days before the phone goes official. So, stay tuned.
