Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi is prepping its next-generation K series smartphones, the Redmi K90. The brand recently unveiled the Redmi K90 Max series, but recent information from the firm sheds light on the K90 Ultra's potential launch timeline. It is expected to be the series' top-of-the-line flagship smartphone.
Redmi K90 Ultra Launch Confirmed
The official Redmi Weibo account has posted a new teaser revealing that the Redmi K90 Ultra will launch sometime in June 2026 itself. Although it doesn't specifically mention a launch date, the post drops a subtle "this month", strongly hinting at the timeline. We also see a poster that shows off the upcoming Redmi phone from the sides with the power and volume rockers and a camera bump.

While the post doesn't reveal any key specifications of the smartphone, leaks and rumours have already weighed in. According to a recent post from DCS, the Redmi K90 Ultra will bear model number M332BF and could pack a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with a built-in cooling fan.
Besides, the tipster claims the battery will be an 8,500mAh unit with 100W fast charging. On the display front, the smartphone could feature a 1.5K OLED display with a 165 Hz refresh rate alongside dual stereo speakers and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The entire package could be protected by an IP68/69 rating.

While details about the other Redmi K90 Ultra specs remain scarce, despite the Ultra moniker, the Redmi K90 Ultra is expected to arrive at a lower price than the K90 Max series. DCS claims that while the Redmi K90 Max and Pro Max remain the premium all-around offerings, the Redmi K90 Ultra will specifically cater to the gaming audience.
Considering we're already halfway past June 2026, the K90 Ultra could launch in a few weeks, towards the end of the month. The mix of active cooling with great performance should woo in users who want an excellent gaming experience. More information about the K90 Ultra should drop as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
