Summary

  • Redmi Note 15 5G has been officially teased to launch soon in India with a 108 MP main camera.
  • Key specs could include Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, 6.77-inch 120 Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display and 5,800mAh battery,
  • Redmi Note 15 5G could launch in the country as early as December 2025-end and be priced under Rs 20,000.

Looks like the wait is finally over, as the Redmi Note 15 5G India launch has finally been officially teased. The smartphone has been confirmed to launch "soon" in the country with a solid main camera. The brand has also teased a couple of other details.

Redmi Note 15 5G India launch is right around the corner

Redmi took to its official X handle to tease the Note 15 5G India launch and the dedicated Amazon microsite has also been updated. The phone has been officially teased to arrive with a 108 "Master Pixel Edition" main camera. In addition, Redmi is also teasing the phone to be "faster, stronger and simply better" than its predecessor.

From the looks of it, the Redmi Note 15 5G launch date in India will be set for the end of December 2025. If that's the case, it will refute previous rumours of the Note 15 launch being delayed to January 2026.

The good thing is that we already know all about the upcoming phone, thanks to the Redmi Note 15 5G China launch from back in August 2025. With that said, here's a quick rundown of the Note 15 specifications:

  • Snapdragon 6 Gen 3
  • 6.77-inch 120 Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display
  • 6 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.2 storage
  • IP68 rating
  • 5,800mAh battery

However, it looks like the Indian variant of the phone will receive a few upgrades. The China variant arrived with a 50 MP primary rear camera and the brand has already confirmed a 108 MP sensor for the Indian unit. We can also expect the battery to be slightly bigger at up to 6,500mAh, going by the recent trend. It could also see a performance boost for the Indian audience.

As for the Redmi Note 15 price in India, one can expect it to come under Rs 20,000. Since the brand has already started teasing the phone, expect to see a concrete Redmi Note 15 5G launch date being revealed in the coming days.
