Summary

  • Redmi Note 15 5G has been launched in China with a 6.77-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz AMOLED display.
  • The device features a dual rear camera setup led by a 50 MP Sony LYT400 sensor.
  • It's the most affordable device in the Note 15 lineup, starting at 999 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 12,000).

The Redmi Note 15 series went official in China on August 22, 2025. Alongside the Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+, the brand has also launched the standard Note 15, powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, packing a 5,800mAh battery and more. Here are all the details.

Redmi Note 15 5G Specifications and Features

As compared to the Redmi Note 15 Pro lineup, the standard Note 15 is quite toned down. While it will share a familiar design, the display is slightly smaller at 6.77 inches and is a Full HD+ panel, but with the same 120 Hz refresh rate.

There are stereo speakers backed by Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio for a good binge-watching experience. The phone itself is also on the lighter and slimmer side, measuring 7.35mm in thickness and weighing 178 grams. Besides, instead of the IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rating on the Pros, the regular model is only IP66 rated.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, which pairs with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Cameras have also been downgraded on the Note 15, with a 50 MP Sony LYT600 primary rear sensor driving a dual camera setup. The secondary sensor is an inconsequential 2 MP depth sensor that exists to add portrait effects. The phone can, however, shoot 4K @ 30 FPS videos. At the front, there's an 8 MP selfie shooter.

Battery power has also been downsized on the Redmi Note 15 5G, which packs a 5,800mAh unit instead of a 7,000mAh capacity. Alongside, there's support for 45W PD charging and 18W reverse wired charging for accessories. ,80

Connectivity options include dual 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS, GLONASS and an infrared sensor.
