Summary

  • Redmi Note 15 Pro series is confirmed to launch in India on January 29, 2026.
  • The phones will be sold via Amazon, the official Mi.com store and other partner retail stores.
  • Redmi Note 15 Pro series specs include 200 MP main camera, at least 6,500mAh battery and IP66+IP68+IP69+IP69K ratings.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro series launched globally just last week with 200 MP main cameras, big batteries and impressive displays. While we already did know the phones would make it to India soon, an exact date was under wraps, until now. The brand has finally officially scheduled the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ India launch date for January 29, 2026. The phones will be sold via Amazon, the official Mi.com store and partner retail stores.

Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Specifications

Both the Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ are quite similar in terms of specifications. For starters, both phones feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K 120 Hz 12-bit OLED display with a 3,200 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

However, it's important to note that while the regular Note 15 Pro uses a flat display, the Pro+ takes to a quad-curved panel instead. However, both phones pack stereo speakers to offer a complete multimedia experience.

The two phones also feature the same 200 MP main rear camera with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens. However, at the front, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ uses a 32 MP selfie shooter, while the Note 15 Pro uses a 20 MP lens.

Besides, both phones are equally durable with the IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings. Connectivity options remain similarly adequate as well, with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC and an infrared sensor.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7400 Ultra, which is a slightly boosted version of the regular Dimensity 7400. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ features the newly launched Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.

Both phones also ship with Android 15-based HyperOS 2, but they are understandably a part of the HyperOS 3 supported devices list.

The phones are also powered by almost similarly sized batteries, with the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ packing a 6,500mAh battery, while the Pro gets a slightly bigger 6,580mAh unit. However, the Pro+ offers a faster 100W fast charging support over the Pro's 45W cap.

Both the Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ are expected to be upper mid-range Redmi phones that are priced between Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000, or maybe even more. The phones will be sold via Amazon, Mi.com and partner retail stores.

With the Redmi Note 15 Pro launch date in India being just days away, we won't have to wait for long to know the pricing as well. So, stay tuned to Beebom Gadgets as we cover the official launch next week.
