Redmi is all set to launch its Redmi Note 15 Pro series in India, consisting of the Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+. The phones have already launched in China and a new leak reveals that there are a few differences between the Indian and Chinese variants.

Redmi Note 15 Pro series will boast 200 MP cameras

According to a new leak from reliable tipster Abhishek Yadav, the most notable shift for the Indian market is in the camera department. As per the tipster, while the Chinese Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro+ boast a 50 MP main camera, the Indian variant will swap it for a 200 MP main HPE snapper. Meanwhile, the Pro+ is said to ditch its 50 MP periscope telephoto shooter.

The front camera remains the same with the Note 15 Pro featuring a 20 MP unit, while the Pro+ boasts a 32 MP snapper. Processor-wise, the Redmi Note 15 Pro will stick to Dimensity 7400, whereas the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will feature Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.

The battery and charging configuration could also see regional adjustments. The Chinese Redmi Note 15 Pro series launched with a 7,000mAh battery. However, the Pro could stick to a 6,580mAh battery, while the Pro+ variant will offer a slightly lower 6,500mAh battery capacity. Charging speeds remain the same at 45W on the Pro and 100W on the Pro+.

The display on both smartphones is a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,800 nits of peak brightness. Both are protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and are HDR10+ and Dolby Vision certified.

Other common specifications include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, 22.5W reverse wired charging and IP68/69 ratings. Sadly, the Indian variants are also said to arrive with Android 15-based HyperOS 2 out of the box, although they are a part of the HyperOS 3-supported devices list.

Redmi Note 15 Pro India launch date is expected to be January 27, 2026, and we're yet to hear from Redmi about the same. We will closely follow and report it as new information becomes available, so stay tuned.
