Alongside the Redmi K90 Max and Redmi K Pad 2 launch in China, the Xiaomi sub-brand has also announced the more affordable Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G. Featuring a big display, Dolby Atmos-backed speakers and a reliable processor, the tablet essentially brings a solid price-to-feature ratio for budget-conscious buyers.
Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G Specifications and Features
The Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G features a 9.7-inch 2K (2048 x 1280 pixels) LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 180 Hz touch sampling rate. This panel can also hit up to 600 nits of peak brightness. To offer a more immersive viewing experience, the tablet sports a quad speaker setup tuned by Dolby Atmos.
The tablet is about 7.4mm thick and weighs 406 grams with a 7,600mAh battery inside. Redmi is offering 18W fast charging support alongside.

Under the hood, the Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G is powered by the Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 6 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.2 storage. In addition, the storage is expandable up to 2 TB via a microSD card slot.
On the software front, the tablet runs on Android 16-based HyperOS 3 out of the box. For photos and videos, the Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G offers an 8 MP front and rear camera, with 1080p @ 30 FPS video recording.
Connectivity options are adequate as well, with 4G LTE (Dual nano SIM), Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.
Redmi Pad 2 SE 4G Price and Availability
The Redmi Pad 2 SE price starts at 1,199 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 16,500) for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB Wi-Fi variant. As for availability, the tablet can already be purchased in China.
