A few days back, Redmi teased the launch of the Redmi Turbo 5 in India as a new performance-focused smartphone. The brand has now finally shared when it will exactly go official and it is happening in the month of June itself.
Redmi Turbo 5 India Launch Date Set for June 16
The official Redmi India X account has now confirmed that the much-awaited Redmi Turbo 5 will launch in India on June 16, 2026, via Amazon. It is being positioned as a top-tier performance mid-ranger with a focus on processor, display, cameras and battery.

Ahead of the official launch date, Redmi will also conduct a special in-person first reveal event in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on June 13, 2026, at 4:30 PM IST. Interested folks can enroll for the event from the link (here) and Xiaomi promises an evening full of fun, activities, goodies and rewards.

While Redmi has not shared any of the phone's specs for India, thanks to the Redmi Turbo 5 China launch, which happened back in January 2026, we know all of its key details. Redmi Turbo 5 Price in India (Expected)
In China, the Redmi Turbo 5 starts from 1,999 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 26,000). However, in India, there is a possibility the smartphone will launch for under Rs 40,000. At that price, it will go head-to-head with the likes of the Poco X8 Pro and the Motorola Edge 70 Pro.
