Samsung is making the process of purchasing refurbished Galaxy smartphones in India seamless by launching its official Certified Re-Newed programme. Via this initiative, the brand will sell second-hand Galaxy phones on its website with perks like brand warranty, genuine part replacements and more.

The official Samsung India website now has a dedicated space which buyers access to purchase Samsung-backed refurbished and renewed smartphones. The programme currently caters to the mid-range and flagship segment and promises reliability, security, performance, value and user experience.

As part of the initiative, Samsung has outlined a four-step approach to ensure every renewed Galaxy smartphone passes rigorous testing and is backed by Samsung for warranty and claims. The website mentions a careful inspection and reconditioning process handled by trained technicians and inside Samsung-approved facilities.

Every refurbished smartphone is guaranteed to run the latest One UI update out of the box and will also be backed by up to 1 year of brand warranty. Moreover, Samsung has promised that every Galaxy phone will have genuine part replacement and will go through a series of tests before it reaches the end customer and will be packed in a new-like retail box to ensure customer satisfaction and a complete purchase experience.
