Samsung Galaxy A07 5G India Launch Teased

Samsung is finally giving last year's Galaxy A07 4G a 5G cousin. The Samsung Galaxy A07 5G has been teased to launch in India with some noteworthy updates in the camera, battery and processor departments.

Positioned as an entry-level 5G smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A07 5G will feature the same 6.7-inch HD+ U-notched PLS LCD display as that of the Galaxy A07 4G. However, the refresh rate will go up from 90 Hz to 120 Hz.

The smartphone will also gain a jump in performance with the Dimensity 6300 chip instead of the Helio G99 processor on the 4G model. It is an important addition since this will help the Galaxy A07 gain 5G connectivity as well as respectable performance.

Also, the Galaxy A07 5G will gain a bigger 6,000mAh battery and an IP64 rating, which the Galaxy A07 4G lacked. In terms of cameras, things are quite similar between the two phones with a 50 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth sensor and an 8 MP selfie shooter.

Aside from that, the smartphone will also bring Wi-Fi 6, dual 5G SIM and Bluetooth 5.4 support. As for the pricing, there is no word on that front yet. Given that the predecessor launched in India for under Rs 15,000, we can expect a similar range for the Galaxy A07 5G. Since the launch has been set for February 2026, we shall know that detail too shortly.
