Samsung has launched a new budget-friendly smartphone under the "Galaxy A" series umbrella – the Galaxy A07. The device targets the price-conscious Indonesian audience with specs like an IPS LCD display, 5,000mAh battery, One UI 7.0 and more. Here are all the details.
Samsung Galaxy A07 Specifications and Features
Starting with the display, the Galaxy A07 features a 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90 Hz refresh rate and an Infinity-U notch in the middle. The bezels are on the thick side with a noticeable chin.
The display is encased within a plastic body which Samsung claims is made out of a Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) for enhanced protection and durability. It is also IP64 rated to protect it from stray dust and water particles. It is also slim at 7.6 mm and lightweight at 184 grams.
On the inside, the smartphone is powered by the budget MediaTek Helio G99 processor. Users can pair the smartphone with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It also supports microSD card expansion of up to 2 TB.
There is also a 5,000mAh battery under the hood to fuel the smartphone. It comes with a 25W USB-C fast charger in the box. Additionally, Samsung is shipping the Galaxy A07 with Android 15-based One UI 7.0. Samsung is claiming six years of software and security support for the device.
Now, talking about the cameras, there is a dual rear camera setup housed within a pill-shaped camera module. It features a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP depth module. The Infinity-U notch at the front gets an 8 MP selfie camera.
Apart from this, the Samsung Galaxy A07 brings a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, mono speaker, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual SIM 4G, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C 2.0 port.
Samsung Galaxy A07 Price in Indonesia and Sale Date
The Samsung Galaxy A07 has retailed for a starting price of 1,399,000 Indonesian rupiah (approximately Rs 7,700) for the 4 GB + 64 GB variant. It can go up to 2,299,000 Indonesian rupiah (approximately Rs 12,600) for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant.
Residents of Indonesia can head over to their nearest Samsung store and/or visit brand-authorised retailers, starting today, that is, August 25, 2025 to purchase the smartphone. It is available in the Green, Light Violet, and Black colour options.
