Samsung has officially launched the budget Galaxy A17 4G smartphone in Germany. It brings specs like a budget processor, AMOLED display and more. Here is a quick rundown of the device's specs, pricing and availability details.
Samsung Galaxy A17 4G arrives with a 50 MP camera
The latest budget smartphone from Samsung features a triple camera setup at the back, with a 50 MP primary camera, backed by Auto Focus and OIS. It is accompanied by a 5 MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2 MP macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, there is a 13 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The Galaxy A17 4G also features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 90 Hz Super AMOLED display with up to 810 nits of high brightness. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+.
Under the hood, the 4GB variant of the Galaxy A17 5G draws its power from the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. It is paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The device ships with One UI 7 based on Android 15 out of the box and has been assured to receive six years of software and security support.

Battery-wise, there is a 5,000mAh unit with only 25W USB-C charging support. Apart from this, the smartphone offers an IP54 rating, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a single speaker, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, dual SIM 4G, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C 2.0 port.

The Samsung Galaxy A17 4G has currently been listed on the Samsung Germany website in the single 6 GB + 128 GB model. It costs 199 Euros (approximately Rs 20,700) and is already available to purchase in the single Black option.
