Samsung Galaxy A37 with Exynos 1480 Spotted on Geekbench

Back in March 2025, Samsung introduced the Galaxy A36 in India. Now, after almost eight months, it looks like the sequel is being prepped to launch soon. A new Geekbench listing has now cropped up online, revealing key details of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A37 smartphone.

Samsung preps the Galaxy A37 with Exynos 1480

A new Samsung smartphone has been listed on Geekbench with the SM-A376B model number. It has managed to rack up 1,158 points in the single-core test, while the multi-score result reveals 3,401 points. It also reveals the presence of 6 GB RAM and Android 16. The said smartphone is said to be the upcoming Galaxy A37, which is reportedly in the works for India.

As for the processor, the listing mentions an octa-core chipset with 4 cores clocked at 2.05 GHz and 4 cores clocked at 2.75 GHz. Given how familiar the CPU architecture is, there is no doubt that the SoC used here is the Exynos 1480 chipset with the Xclipse 530 GPU.

If true, this will bring an interesting shift since the Galaxy A36 sported the much more newer Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor. This is because the Exynos 1480 is comparable to the Snapdragon 778G chip, which launched way back in 2021. So, do not expect the Galaxy A37 to shine in the performance department.
